Some new "Courtyard by Marriott" Phuket and Hua Hin for 2008

This may interest those of you who like Marriotts or are members of their awards program-

2008 - These places become "Courtyard by Marriott"

Phuket - Grand Tropicana Patong Beach and the Surin Beach Resort at Surin Beach , and, the Kamala Bay Garden Resort at Kamala Beach.

Hua Hin / Cha Am - Tipviman Cha Am which will be called the " Courtyard by Marriott at Hua Hin / Cha Am Beach "
( The Tipviam was the Golden Sands Resort, then the Tipviman Resort, then until recently this year the Novotel Cha Am, and next year the Courtyard by Marriott - some sign painter is making a fortune ! )

Marriott supposedly has a policy that they offer the best rates through their own site. In my experience, that's not always the case, but it does reinforce the point that you need to check the hotel's site whenever you're making reservations.
