Saw this on the Europe Board, great fun! Drag and drop the countries into place on the map and see how you scorse, also a great way to get a feel for where places are, some good 'coffee time' fun !
I got 94% with an error av of 31 miles, got caught on the position of Monglolia and Turkmenistan.
Here is the link for the Intermediate Level which is the same level they chose on the Europe Board

It's a bit of luck which country you get first! if you get China first it is easy to put in Monolia etc

I wonder how well people would do on the US States?? It is actually a very good site and a very fast way actually to learn where is where, great for kids too! I only got 80% on Europe and got thrown by the San Marino/Andorra type places which are honestly pretty tricky to get an exact place on the map.
I think I will have go with the States and see how it goes.

Thanks for the link James. I matched your 94%, but my average error was 45 miles. It strikes me that I would have done better (or worse) depending on the order in which the countries are presented. If you can fill in all the big countries first, it makes it easier to be more accurate with the small countries.

Absolutely, the first county I had was Mongolia, now that is difficult to pin point on a blank map, if you get China first everything ( well east side anyway ) falls right into place.
