Solutions for Restless Leg Syndrome on long flights?

Does anyone have experience dealing with Restless Leg Syndrome on long flights? It happens to me sporadically, and when it does, it drives me (and those sitting next to me) absolutely crazy! If I get up and move around, it helps. But is there a way to prevent it in the first place? I'll be flying to Asia again in a couple months, so I'd like to be prepared.

Judy, I have suffered from this for years and it is a horrible syndrome! Check out these websites for info:

Good luck!

Do you mean that the passenger seated next to me wants to beat me with ropes and chains??? I wouldn't blame him/her!

Thank you, eurotraveller. The rls.org site was very helpful. I'm really surprised there aren't more people on this board who have this problem!
