Six months in Inchoen / South Korea
 

Hello everyone,

My name is Mert from the Netherlands. I am a student and I am going to study for six months at the university in inchon/Incheon?.

I am looking for a place to rent in the neighbourhood of Nam-gu Incheon. I want to move in around 10-12 of august 2016 and stay until 8 February of 2017. I looked around on the web and have found few to non results. Do you have suggests as to where I could look?

Also what should I avoid or watch out for when I am looking or renting a place?

You should contact the university and have them help you/give suggestions

Well I did and they are giving rooms but they also suggest that we could find one ourselves which could be most likely cheaper and better. This is what they themselves said.

Which university are you going to be ?
What are the price of the room they offer to you ?

You can look on craiglist or you can just go there, booked an hostel for a week and look for real estate (you need a korean to help you because they won't speak english) and they'll try to find you a room.
You need to know that the rent can be cheap but the deposit fee really can be expensive.

Try Airbnb. My son lives in Seoul and there are lots of rentals available for long term.
