Singapore - Swissotel Merchant Court or Novotel Clark Quay

We (2 adults + 1 child) will be on our first trip to Singapore next month. Both of these hotels offer the same rate, SGD 220/NIGHT, which one is better ?

Swissotel Merchant Court has a better pool area.

How far is Novotel Clarke Quay from the MRT station? Is it walkable distance?

You can walk to MRT.

I saw cheaper rates on hotelpricefinder.com. You might want to check that out.
