Singapore Night Safari

Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get from the night safari to the airport? I am thinking about going there before our midnight flight out of SIN.

Probably about 30 minutes.

Thanks, Kathie. In case you are wondering why I am asking because my agonizing attempts to finalize my intinerary never included SIN - - after being cancelled on my award seats on the JFK-BKK flights, yesterday an amazing USAir rep found seats on the exact days I wanted to travel. But instead of leaving from KUL, we leave from SIN. So we will spend our last day there (we were there for about 5 days almost 8 years ago and the one thing I missed was the night safari - - I'm trying to figure out if I can check in, taxi to the night safari, then taxi back to the airport in time for the midnite flight)

Hey, congrats on getting your award seats! We always enjoy some time in Singapore.

the night safari is the world 'first park designed to be given the night. It is not simply an ordinary zoo illuminated by night or a modern version of houses in many nocturnal zoos. Located on 40 hectares of dense secondary forest, the night safari offersguests the unique experience of exploring wildlife in a tropical jungle at night.

I was there in May...I recommend it if you can work it in the schedule. We got there rather late, and had to rush through, but I'm still glad we went.

We will arrive at SIN around 6pm and our flight leaves at 11:25pm. So we will have time to do either the night safari or have dinner at the East Coast Seafood Center. I prefer the former, DH the latter. I am hoping that after 5+ weeks of eating out every night, he will agree to the night safari. I think we will be able to squeeze it in, even if only for 2 hrs.
