Singapore Travel agent
Hi,
I'm flying to Singapore in August (got a $300 ticket through travelzoo/singapore airlines).
Does anyone know of a good Singaporean travel agent? I don't plan to stay in Singapore but rather plan to travel to Australia or other places
I've tried www.zuji.com but it's not that cheap.
thx

I agree that airfares.com.sg (Misr Travel) are excellent, they have a great website and plenty of promotion fares that are easy to figure out, the correct url is:
http://www.airfares.com.sg
I have used them many times. Look for cheap fares up to Phuket, Krabi, Langkawi and such.

Thanks for responding!
I will try aifares.com.sg. Did you get the ticketes courier/fedex over to you?
I'm based in San Francisco and wanted to make travel plans before I left for Singapore.

I live in Asia so that doesn't apply. When I used them I 'guarenteed' my booking with them by credit card and then went to their office and picked up the tickets ( and paid cash as was cheaper ), worked fine. They will make your booking and give you a booking reference. If you want them to send the 'hard tickets' I sure they will do that for you no problem. Express rates from Singapore are quite cheap.

Just a reminder for 'domestic sectors' in Australia, both Virgin Blue and Qantas offer cheap online fares but you should compare 'both'. Sometimes Virgin Blue were cheaper, sometimes Qantas.
Singapore Airlines have some very cheap promotions at the moment, a benefit of Singapore Airlines is that they allow you to fly to 'one' location and fly back from 'another one' for the same fare!
You would be surprised that Singapore Airlines offers the most international flights into Australia ( I think it was almost 10 per day but some flights were cut-back recently but will probably be re-instated over the next few weeks), better range than Qantas. Emirates also has lots of flights SIN-Australia, add to that Royal Brunei/Garuda etc and there is a good choice.
