In the continuing adventure of planning 3+ weeks in Thailand and Singapore, we now need suggestions for hotels - reasonably priced - in Singapore for 4 adults. Either 2 rooms or an apartment will do. Seeing how expensive lodging is, I don't even know how to place a price...

$200-$225 total per night?

I think it would go slightly above the 225 range, but the Peninsula Excelsior Hotel is good value for money. Regularly goes for about 140$ (per room) and with some luck you might get it for less.
