Hey, I still think $857 is a good deal! I just wish I had the time for a quick jaunt to Bali.

This deal is a real steal.
S'pore Airline has excellent service.
Its safety record is second to none.
The only accident I could recall was in the year 2000 when a SIA flight took off from the wrong runway at Taiwan Taoyuan Airport killing half of its passengers.

Bob, you are going to be in Bangkok? We'll be in Bangkok for part of that time, after our time in Burma. I haven't nailed down all of the Burma arrangements yet, but we'll be glad to meet up with you and the pandas and anyone else in Bangkok then!

So far I think there will be over 10 Fodorites visiting Thailand during November 2009.

Rhkkmk + 1
Gpanda + 1
Kathie + 1
offwego
Nywoman
Eks?
who else?
Filmwill?
Would be great if Katie_H can represent Fodor's over here.

May I suggest a round the world ticket from NY - S.Africa - Bangkok - NY? Delay or extend the the S. Arica trip and you're set!

OMG Bob, that's one crazy schedule!

I admit, when I saw that deal, I considered it myself for a moment, but we are all set to leave for VN in 23 days. Can't see going back to Asia again so fast, no matter how tempting.
Instead, I'm feeling another trip to Rome coming on in October.
