Singapore-30 Hours
 

We will be in Singapore for thirty hours in early June. What are the must-sees and must-dos? Thanks. Remember, we will be recovering from eight days with Bob in Bali.

Andy, some of my faves in Singapore:

the orchid garden at the Botanical Gardens. The whole Botanical garden is lovely, but the orchid garden is the largest display orchid garden in the world, and is truly stunning.

The Museum of Asian Civilizations. There are two locations, one at Empress Place and the other just a couple of blocks from Raffles. Both are worth a visit.

Eating. Singapore is a foodie's paradise. Oh, wait, you've been with Bob for eight days? you won't need to eat.

Kathie is so diplomatic..she says you won't need to eat, meaning "you'll have totally lost you appetite"..

The Night Zoo is really wonderful and different from any other zoo I have been to. It makes a nice evening out. You can book it as a tour or get there by public transportaition and stop off at a hawker center along the way.
