Should we take a day from Phuket and add one to Chiang Mai?

Okay, I been planning our Thailand Honeymoon for sometime now and getting down to making reservations. What I would like is your opinions on is this-should we take a day from Phuket and add on to Chiang Mai? We are staying at the Four Seasons in Chiang Mai and I continue to hear wonderful things about it. But nevertheless here is our plan to give you a better idea:

BKK-3.5 days in beginning
Chiang Mai-currently 3.5 Days
Phuket-3.5 Days
BKK-1.5 at end of trip

I know it is a lot of moving around-but what do you guys think about adding a day to Chiang Mai?

If it was me I'd add a day in bangkok. But to answer your question, yes -- I would definitely add a day in Chiang Mai.

As you said, you are doing quite a bit of moving around-so you need to think about that luggage drill you're going to have to go through. However, if you can handle that, I think your itinerary looks about right. If I were you, and because it's your honeymoon, I don't think I'd want to take away from the 3.5 days on the beach at Phuket. Is there any way you could just simply add an additional day to your itinerary for Chiang Mai without taking away from Phuket or BKK? That would be the optimal scenario, in my view-by spending 3-4 days in a location, you won't feel quite so rushed going from one place to the other.

not sure where, hoping a 5* River will come up on Priceline, but not counting on that. If not, then going to book at the Penn or Marriott resort and Spa.
