Shipping packages to USA

Is it safe to send packages from China back to the USA? Is it really expensive and do they actually make it? Does the postoffice sell boxes to put your items in? Any help would be appreciated. Thank

I have sent 10 queen sized silk comforters back from China at an air mail cost of $10.00 each and they arrived in 3 days.I have also shipped crates of furniture by sea and everything has arrived in perfect condition. Depending on what you're sending back the store is usually willing to pack it and ship it air mail for you.[for each of the comforters they sucked out all the air so it was a fairly small package]. Also, you can have the concierge at your hotel package it and ship it for you to save yourself the agravation. Don't worry...it will all get here.

I also was wondering about shipping packages. I am staying at in Beijing at the Holiday Inn Lido. Do they have mailing service? How much to send about a 5 pound package? Any limits on sending?

Can you send packages to your own home?

You can send packages directly to your home but do it just before you leave so that the packages don't arrive there before you get back. It takes about 3 days for a 5 pound package to arrive if it is sent by air mail or air courier and it should cost no more than $15.00. I'm sure the Concierige at the Holiday Inn in Beijing could handle it for you.
