Shanghi
 

We will be in Shanghi in early May with a tour. We will have a extra day in Shanghi after the tour leaves. Any idea on things to do would be appreciated.

Yes, a day trip to Suzhou to see a Chinese garden is a good idea although you'll probably see YuYuan in Shanghai. If you want to stay within the city (I do if it's the last day and I'm on my own), the Shanghai Museum is worth a trip; follow with the acrobat show at night. Of course, there is also shopping.

Lucky you. Take a walk out of the hotel area. See the people, go to their shops, department stores, fast food places, enjoy the day. live it up.<BR>ENJOY THE PEOPLE, THEY ARE GREAT.
