Shanghai World expo 2010

Anyone going to the world expo in Shanghai this year? I am going Shanghai end of July and debating how many days I should set aside for this event. It's a bit early to start this topic but I think it's cheaper to get the plane tickets now than later. Any input?

We've decided (and have bought tickets in Australia) to go for two days in July. We only have 4 days, and want to see a bit of Shanghai too. There are three day tickets available. I don't think it's possible to see it all, even in three days, with human endurance factored into the situation.
We noticed that hotel prices have already gone up, since we booked.

Yes, this explains why hotel prices seem so high in Shanghai for August!

I have a place to stay in Shanghai. All I need is plane ticket. I've been to Shanghai 4 times in last 3 years :)

Do you have your Expo ticket yet? With so many countries participating, the grounds are vast and would take days to see them all.

Is it a little to early to get the tickets? I heard there is subway lines that takes you directly to the expo centers and the ride is free with if you show your expo tickets.

You should go online and check, the tickets are selling fast.

I'm thinking of taking my family to the Expo in late July. From what I can tell of the metro lines, line 8 seems to go right throught the Expo site, with a station called Zhoujiadu slated to open.
Has anyone heard of New Harbour Service Apartments near People's Square? It seems to have one and two bedroom suites available which could work for families.

DNSmiley: The location is excellent and the suites are good for families, the Grand Hyatt it is not.

Which hotel do you think is the most convenient to stay in? Luxury, 4-5 star, $200-$300/nite? Does any hotel have accommodations for 4 people?

Hundred Centuries Hotel Shanghai is a nice hotel. Many friends would like to reserve this hotel through the website chinahotels.hk. This hotel is near the metro line and the EXPO center.
