Shanghai Pudong Airport Hotel?
Can anyone recommend a hotel close to the airport with a shuttle for an overnight between flights? Budget about $100.

I will chime in, but this may exceed your proximity requirement. I stay at the Doubletree in Pudong (formerly the Jin Jiang Oriental Hotel). It is about 600 RMB a night.

To get there from the Pudong Airport(PVG), take the Mag Lev train downtown, then it is a short cab ride.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've booked at the Royal International near the airport, good reviews for the most part on TA and about the price you mention. I have no plans to go into town before heading out again so proximity to the airport won.

Hi, here i would recommend you:
1. Ramada Pudong Airport Hotel
2. Dazhong Airport Hotel
3. Jinjiang Inn Shanghai Airport Hotel
You can search them on Google, but i don't think they would offer shuttle bus at mid night.

Are you taking a cab from the Royal Inter.?

Adding to Jason's --

1. has shuttle
2. inside airport, I saw it across the wide street from Terminal II, inexpensive
3. next to 2.
4. Motel 168, inside airport, cheap

Thanks for the information. I've decided to stay near Hongqaio airport so I have a short ride for my flight next day.

Hongqiao Airport now has 2 terminals not next to each other, find out which one you are departing from and select a hotel close to it.
