I’m going to Shanghai for a conference for 8 days next month. I’ve always had a yen for a beautiful real silk dressing-gown, those sort of art nouveau boho types. Am I right in thinking that I could buy or get them made in Shanghai at a very good price? I’d like to buy one or two that would last me years (not fall apart in the first wash), so proper quality. Does anyone have any tips/recommendations on where to go to either buy read-made, or to have tailor made? Do you choose the silk in shop? Is it sufficient to bring a photo/print off of the style, if a tailors? How long would it take? Any idea how much I should pay for this? I really appreciate it! Siasu
