In order to best maximize my time outside of Shanghai ie. hangzhou or suzhou should I just go and try to find my own way around? Or best to try to hire a guide once I get there...or just try to take an organized tour from Shanghai. I would prefer to go on my own but am concerned I might miss a lot of the stuff that a guide would show me. Once I get to these towns like I mentioned above are there guides readily available to hire?
