First time to Shanghai, going for a vacation. Where is the best location for a tourist to stay and not get overwhelmed ? Would actually like to stay at a Marriott property since I am Platinum Premier with them. Thank you for any suggestions,

We stayed at the JW Marriott at Tomorrow Square. The location was perfect, as we were within walking distance of many sites. The hotel was good enough, a typical Marriott, with good concierge service. However, I did not like having to take two elevators to get to the hotel, and it was a walk between them. However, if you can get a good deal with points, then I would go for it.
