Isis
Directions to Patumwan House... I feel compelled to say something. Hope you will take them with you when you go. Soi Kasemsan 1 is a one-way narrow alley that you take off of Phaya Thai Rd. There is a GREAT map at the following web site:
www.into-asia.com/
bangkok/maps/siamsquare.php
I don't know if you can link to it or if you have to type in the complete address by hand. You can print the map.
It shows places along Soi Kasemsan 1 such as Wendy House, White Lodge. If you look at the map, you will see coming in off of Phaya Thai. You MUST take the right turn at the jog. Patumwan House is at the END of that "little" alley. You'll see that #1 on the map is Jim Thompson house, a stone's throw from Patumwan. Hope this helps!

(Oh, where you see the R in Rd for Phaya Thai Rd, there is a very good and reasonable currency exchange, right at the entrance to Soi Kasemsan 1. Siam Discovery is right across the street from that exchange)

Carol

Take a look at the map and see if you can see what I'm talking about. P House is right on the klong.

I am topping this because the Price link on the Patumwan House website is not an active link.

Do I need to email them for this info or is there another site that has the prices on it?

Thanks!

Tamara

I tried to find patumwan house by way of a google search and I wasn't able to pull it up. I know that it is still a great place to stay in BKK, without paying an arm and a leg. It is clean, friendly, and the little cafe there serves some good stuff!!

I'm not sure what to tell you about the pricing. An email is maybe in order.

One bedroom rooms at Pathumwan House start at about 1,000 Baht and the biggest two bedroom suite is about 2,000 Baht per night. They are cheaper by the week, and much cheaper by the month.

I always call them to make reservations. Communication via E-Mail always seems difficult & slow. Their phone number should be on the web-site.

Carol,

Can you please provide me with the photos?

Here is my e-mail address:
[email protected]

If you can find the business card for the Patumwan House, please e-mail.
But if you cannot locate it, that's okay too.
Thank you again!

Icebaby...
I found the Patumwan House folder in my photo albums. I'll try to send it to you. It includes a few photos plus the front and back of the Patumwan House business card. Give me a minute to figure out how to do it...
Carol

Let me know if you get the folder.

OK, folder has been sent. It contains photos of the living area and master bedroom of a 2-bedroom apartment at Patumwan House. The folder also contains the front and back of the business card. I hope you can open these on your computer. Please let me know.

If you go to my web cite at cjscollection.com you can select the photo gallery option on the left side of the page. Choose the Asia album and then go to photos #34-35-36 (roughly) and you will see pictures of the front of Patumwan House as well as a couple of pics of a 2-bedroom apt.

I've also got lots of other serviced apartment photos in that same album.

Hope this helps.

Carol
