Service to work with independent travellers?

Because of a combination of work agenda, ot wanting to FLY except when essential, and rather an inflexible itinerary, we need to book 'independent travel.' However, I think we could use some assistace coordinating train tickets, cruise, hotels, some transfers.

Can anyone recommend someone/some agency who might help?

Thanks!

Arriving Beijing 4/21
CURRENT THOUGHTS:
4/22-24 SIghseeing, Beijing
4/24-26 Meetings (pays OUR WAY!)
4/27- Overnight train to Xi’an
4/28- arr 8 am.Sightseeing
4/29- sightseeing Xian
Overnight train to Chongqing
4/30- Chingqing, board cruise ship
5/1-3 Cruise, arrive Yichang,
fly to Shanghai
5/3-6 sightseeing shanghai
5/6 Flight Shanghai- homebound

Our big issues: Making sure we can get soft sleeperf on the O/nite trains
making sure we have tix Yichang-Shang that connect with the ship arrival
ONLY reservations we now have are in Beijing (Traveler's Hotel, NO our choice but the conference paying for the whole stay) and the penthouse at No. 9 Hotel in Shanghai (couldn't reisst after the NY Times article.)

ANY and all help welcome... we're open to all sorts of permutations if what we've thought about won't work!

I also need to coordinate Yichang flight with ship. WACTS.com has been recommended.

guiderick - no advertising on this forum.

Steve - I used Passport Travel in Oz for some reservations in China, they subcontracted me to CITS. I also used CITS a couple of times when I was in China.

iamles-

Sorry, been on the road and not checking as often as I might. I used email for reservations after checking the website... folks were ABSOLUTELY great (had to change dates a couple times)although generally took 2-3 days to get back to me.
