Seeking Advice On Visiting Qirmizi Qesebe, Azerbaijan

My husband and I are planning a trip to the Caucuses in the fall or next spring, as soon as I can figure out an itinerary. We are interested in visiting the all-Jewish village of Qirmizi Qesebe (Mountain Jews), which I understand to be quite a distance from Baku.

I am trying to figure out how to get there, and where to stay. We generally only use guides when necessary, but I imagine a driver will be essential. Any ideas would be appreciated. I have read that the people there just put together a museum, so I imagine that visitors might be welcome.

Thanks.
