Second Earthquake in Indonesia
 

A second earthquake struck Sumatra just 12 hours after the first. Shocks were felt in Malaysia and Singapore. According to Reuters, thousands are feared dead. Our thoughts go out to those poor people.

Crellston, I've been following this as well. I look forward to marmot checking in with us to tell us she's ok and what is happening on the ground there.

I actually wasn't "on the ground" for this one as I was enroute from Bali. Jakarta where I am wasn't directly affected but the situation in Padang is really horrific. These poor people just can't get a break!

What a week -- typhoons, floods, earthquakes, tsunami, Chinese fireworks plus the harvest moon.
