Sailing the Andaman Sea in Thailand

In October my wife and I were in Thailand and wanted to see some of the islands between Phuket and Koh Phi Phi especially in Phang Nga Bay, but did not want to be stuck those "cattle car" type ferries. We decided to go on a small sailing cruise by catamaran for 4 days. What a great experience and worth the extra money. We went to "James Bond" island, saw the floating sea gypsy villages, went to Railay beach, and snorkeled daily.

I would highly advise this type of trip if you have an adventurous spirit. You can see some of the video from our trip here if interested:

Hi,

I am super interested. We need something new beyond sailing in the Caribbean! What company did you use for the sailing trip?

G Adventure Travel, which happened to work well with our schedule. We had a great time.

I am a keen sailor and do virtually none in Thailand these days. Apart from the cost over here, the facilities are limited the region is plagues by shallow coastal waters and worst of all there is hardly ever any wind.
