Royal Garden Village in Hua Hin, Thailand

Has anyone ever stayed at this place? It looks really beautiful? Is it right on the beach? Is it eexpensive to eat and buy drinks there if you stay there?

The Royal Graden Village is now called the 'Anantara' Resort following a major upgrade. It is right on the beach ( it's own). I think hotel bar/restaurants costs we all know are usually higher than outside. Many hotels of course add service+tax also. However I doubt they would be too much. Most people venture into Hua Hin town for the evenings and there is a regular shuttle-bus service. It's a lovely hotel!

Sarah, do you have an idea where we can get the best rates for the Anantara resort, booking from Germany seems very expensive. Thanks

For booking have a look at the rates at www.hoteltravel.com, www.asiatravel.com, www.planetholiday.com and www.diethelm-travel.com, maybe you will find better rates at one of these web sites.
