Roundtrip transport from KUL to Bukit Tinggi

We'll be arriving Mar 13 around noon at KUL from BKK, and would like to have private transport waiting to take us to Colmar Tropicale hotel in Bukit Tinggi. We'd also like to have transport back to KUL from Colmar Tropicale hotel on Mar 15 in order to make a 22:50 international flight.

Does anyone know what would be the best and easiest way to arrange this? Thanks!

Well, if you don't want to just use taxis, you can always book an airport transfer through a web site called Viator:

I've used them before and not had a problem.

Another option would be to ask your hotel for a transfer

Thanks for the suggestions.

MichaelBKK, I didn't know if taxis would make that run since it's about a 45 minute drive from KUL. Thanks for the link to Viator and your testimonial!

Kathie, we want to leave straight from the KUL airport after we arrive. But on our return to the airport, we could ask the hotel for a transfer.

ovenbird...most hotels will get you at the hotel...for a fee. Contact both the hotel and Viatour.

Yes, the hotel can arrange for a car to meet you at KUL. I'm sure they do it all the time. So check with the hotel and with viatour for a price comparison. Note that the city is an hour's drive from KUL

Thanks for all the help!

Just to clarify, are you saying the Colmar Tropicale could likely arrange for a car to meet us at KLIA?

Also another question... Given a 1hr 45min drive and rush hour traffic, what time would you suggest we leave Bukit Tinggi to make a 10:50pm international flight? I'm thinking maybe 5pm...or am I being too cautious?

Yes, I am saying that Colmar could arrange for a car to meet you at KLIA. I'm sure they do this all the time.

I'd ask the people at Colmar what time you should leave to get to the airport on time. They will know much better than any of us. You need to be at the airport by 8:50. I would think that 5 pm would put you right in the middle of rush hour. But, again, the staff at Colmar will know the answer to your question.

for sure ask the hotel for driving time on your return... they do it all the time...

just make sure you tell them the right airport for the pick-up.. while it will cost more for sure to use the hotel service, i much prefer that on my first arrival in a place..
