Romantic holiday besides Bali

What would you suggest for a 4-day romantic holiday in Asia & Pacific, besides Bali? Prefer beach resort offering great snorkeling, good food, and spa service. At least 4-star quality and quiet.
Am planning to travel with my husband in June next year.

Wow, plenty of choice. Thailand would include Koh Samui, Phuket, Hua Hin, Krabi, Phi Phi, Koh Lanta and lots more. Malaysia probably Langkawi.

There is a report now that there are problem with Thai moslem extremists in southern Thailand which would take in most of the Thai islands. With Al. Q having just confirmed that they are the ones who were behind the bombing in Bali every part of Asia is a risky place right now.

Bob, I think that people get the information from CNN, or the State Department advisories, Government warnings and such like. You can choose to ignore them at your peril I guess but I would think that making snide remarks when people say things that are helpful is not really what the forum is about you may think you are clever but you really are an ass.
Well they haven't got many warnings right yet have they! What about storm warnings? 23 dead was it?

Mwe Nov 11th, 2002 11:23 AM

I guess if you are from some parts of the world, including many parts of Asia, Middle East and America going on a holiday in a country with warnings out against it would be nothing different from what you have in your own country anyway on a day to day basis.
Aside from the latest Washington sniping what were the wonderful statistics for murder, rape and violence?
