Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh

Hello,

I saw a show on tv where they previewed a restaurant in Ho Chi Minh. It *sounded* like New Com Restaurant. The place features rice baked in clay pots that are literally thrown to waiters. It's an open, family-style restaurant.

Could someone tell me the name and where it is?

Thanks

it's 'com nieu'--rather than try to pronounce it, try writing it down and showing it to people at ur hotel. can't remember exactly where it is but it's famous as a unique place.

food-wise, tho, i thought it wasn't that great. it IS a different culinary experience, eating while clay pots go flying past, and u need strong shoes bc of all the stuff on the floor. but essentially it's a big pat of rice cooked hard on the outside, released from the pot, mashed up and served w/ different sauces. my vnese friend didn't think it was so great either. we sat there a long time chewing hard rice. there are lots of other dishes to choose from too.
