Anybody used Res24.com for hotel reservations in Thailand? Comments? Thx!!

This is just another of the many r24 sites that are reliable but not necessarily the most competitive.

res24, sawadee.com & huahin.20m.com all appear to have similar rates. The search engines all look similar. We've used them all and found them reliable & their rates as cheap as anywhere else. Good luck.

I use their local sites all the time, huahin.20m.com for Hua Hin etvc, patong-beach-hotels.com for Patong and Phuket, Nongasia use them too, never had a problem over years and years, very large choice, very well known in Thailand, you don't have to give credit card details and can request as many hotels as you want, only when they can confirm rooms ( often within just hours ) do you then decide and give c/card details. Locally I also get my confirmations on my cellphone, I don't know if same applies overseas but worth a try as brilliant to get a text message instead of checking email.

24 is good, I've also had good experiences for thailand and vietnam with precisionreservations.com and planetholiday.com, which are one and the same.

I always suggest to shop around and to use Yahoo if you want to search in Asia especially Thailand, I always find a huge amount more of Thailand and Asia sites and local information when I search on Yahoo especially Yahoo Asia, they include lots of regional and local sites that just don't get listed or don't appear on 'other' seach engines.
