Replying to message replys

Help! I posted a message concerning PhiPhi advice and people were kind to reply. I would like to discuss some of messages but apparently I'm not doing correctly since when I tried my reply came up as a reply to my message. Sorry but needed to ask for help. Thanks in advance.
Margie

When you post a 'new message' that becomes a thread, people will reply to your question / comment, you then respond/add to them, as I am doing here.

Read their messages and then click 'post reply' and then respond, that thread then goes to the top as most recent, you do not need to sdtart a new message, just reply and others will respond under your original message.

I don't know if that makes sense, but it's like what i am doing now, replying to your question.

Go back to the posts you made and then add more queries depending on what people have responded.
Hope that helps.

You can see your Phi Phi original 'thread' has now moved up ( as I just put a comment in ), keep the questions on that same 'thread', it is not necessary to start a 'new message' ( i.e new thread ) unless something different to your Phi Phi trip questions.

e.g If you then wanted to know about a place to stay in say Chiang Mai in 'that case' start a new thread, that will attract those who are knowledgeable in that area, but for Phi Phi I suggest you keep the one thread going and you will have all the details in 'one place'

I sure someone else will explain better than I !!

As James says, it is best to keep all discussion on one topic on one thread. You did right by responding to the questions as a reply to your message. That way people will know better what you are discussing. ((*))

Were you hoping to reply to an individual poster? That can't be done here. Which is good, because keeping all the answers "public" lets everyone benefit.
