Renewing my International Student Identity Card

My ISIC has expired and I need to renew it for a flight back to the States because I purchased a round-trip student Etihad ticket. I am still in full-time academic standing. Can I make a replacement card in Nepal?

This is their website.

Further, this card is not a travel document. You still need a valid passport, visa, etc. How does it matter if the isic card has expired?

trekHills,

You can get a new ISIC card at Zen Nepal in Kathmandu. The website is http://zentravels.com/student-travel

You will have to go into the office on Tredevi marg at the end of Thamel.

And it matters if your card is expired. If staff check your card you may be asked to upgrade to a full priced ticket. You will be asked by Etihad staff (they are pretty dedicated to making sure you only get a discount if you are REALLY a student).

I do have my passport and visa in order. Mine was a discounted student ticket, subject to full-time status and an ISIC card is needed for eligibility.
