Recommendation for hotel in Mumbai ?

Hi all

I am looking for a recommendation of where to stay in Mumbai. I have been considering the Taj Lands End or the Trident, but any suggestions welcome.
I will be there the first week of October.

Thanks!

Out of the two you are considering, the Trident is a much better option. If you want to go in for a Taj Hotel which is similarly priced I'd suggest Vivanta by Taj - President. You can't go wrong with either of these.

And it probably goes without saying that if money is no objection, the Taj Mahal Palace is by far the best hotel in Mumbai.

Taj Mahal Palace & Tower Hotel
Apollo Bunder | Colaba Mumbai, India

my #1

Intercontinental #2

suite upgrades ichotelgroups.com if you join Priority Club

usually can snag either under around $200 with 5% and

facebook like discount on Otel.com booking.com for reviews

good deals on other cheaper 5 stars like Oriental...

Happy Planning,

it will all depend on what you are doing in Mumbai and which areas you want to visit. In a city like Mumbai you should try to minimise the travel. Hence you should be looking for a hotel closest to your areas of interest. Good International Hotel brands have hotels across the city. Select the closest hotel. Remember, while some of the hotels may be a little better as compared to others: travelling 60 - 75 minutes just to get to your hotel may not justify the same.

If you tell me the areas you are visiting, I can suggest a good hotel.

Naddy - I am going for wedding shopping. From what I understand Bandra and Linking Road are quite popular for shopping. Other suggestions are welcome too.
I will be doing a little sight seeing but think I can cover this in one day.

Thanks!
