Ratt's service
 

I've heard compliments and complains on Ratt's service, can anyone update me on this?
I plan to use her for 2 days, can I pay with credit card or she only accepts cash?

Ratt and her co workers are great. chances are you are not going to get her anyway...tell her what you want to do and she will match you with a driver and/or guide. Cash only....

Yes great service; be very specific about what you want though and what kind of traveler you are so she can match you with the right person.

This is the second year that I used Ratt and she was fabulous. Prompt, fun and a really nice lady and driver. She is NOT a guide but her english is very good and she knows a lot about the city which she is happy to share. Makes no attempt to take you to stores that you don't want to go to and her restaurant suggestions have been excellent. I highly recommend her. If you want her rather than the drivers who work for her the key is simply to book far in advance.

cash..you will love her...just be specific on what you want to do and don't accept her suggestions unless they seem like things you would like to do, but be open to other ideas...

She drove us around BKK for 3 days in December of '05. I agree with all of the above. Her recommendations are very good and we were pleased with the restaurants and jeweler she took us to.

Let me add two observations: she is also very flexible. We got "Wat-ted out" very quickly and she helped us to add more shopping. Secondly, you will be shocked at her ability to find you in a crowd. I was astounded on at least 3 occasions (once at the Weekend Market) that she could find my wife and I among all those people. Helped us with good prices, too.

We found her thanks to the recommendations of folks on this board and really treasured her company and help.
