rain in bangkok now????
 

going next week...weather forecast for the last week or so and the near future has been thunderstorms every day. any in bkk now to let me know??? thx

Today it rain at around 6.00 pm and only lasted about 30 minutes. Yesterday it rain at about 11.00 am and lasted a few hours.

Keep in mind that if you're looking at sites like weather.com, you'll always see thunderstorms predicted for Bangkok. Frankly, I think they never change their graphics.

I find most western-based weather sites to be astonishingly lazy and incorrect when it comes to Thailand weather. Every time sites said 'rain', it's been sunny. If I followed their forecasts, our entire last 2 vacations would've been pouring the whole time and I think, if I recall correctly, we got about 10 total minutes of rain on the whole trip.

at this time you have to expect some rain but usually later in the day...

(lalex... the umbrella will work!! It just brought very lovely weather to Boston area a couple of weeks ago when I carried mine, expecting it to rain everyday of my visit there) lol
