Stay away from Sentosa - especially for this special occasion. I just spent 3 months in Singapore - "make it raffles".<BR><BR>History, location, and all that. Four seasons and such are everywhere. <BR><BR>Sentosa is a hookey version of disney for people from Singapore who never leave - the water is disguistingly polluted, etc.<BR>The only thing I enjoyed on Sentosa was the Images of Singapore Museum. Not a really "joyful vacation outing" but exremely informative and moving on Sing's history - plan on 3 hours for the museum if you go.<BR>DO TAKE the cable car if you go to Sentosa - its beautiful and peaceful.<BR><BR>Enjoy and congrats.

Hi Petra!<BR>I've lived in singapore for a few years before coming to Hong kong. Raffles should, I think, be your choice. The Ritz & the four seasons are nice enough, but they don't have the same atmosphere as Raffles does. From the Long bar(where the singapore sling was concocted), to having dinner in the open courtyard, nothing can beat Raffles. And of the three, ofcourse Raffles has the most history behind it.
