We are planning to visit SJ International during our trip to Thailand in the next few weeks. I have all of the contact info and to mention that you recommended them.

What kind of payment can we use or do they prefer? Thanks in advance!

i believe they take all the normal forms of payment..

Yes - have seen that she is currently in Asia. Just wanted to make sure that they would take a credit card - otherwise we'd get extra travelers checks or cash ahead of time.

Kathie is in Sri Lanka. I shop regularly at SJ and I pay with my AmExp card. They take all major credit cards. Happy Travels!

The definitely take VIsa and Amex. I've worn out both of those on my visits to SJ!

Say hi to Lily from Lucy in Hawaii. She'll remember i brought my Fodor's bag last June with the names of Guenmai, Kathie, HawaiianTraveler (Peter & Linda), and other regular SJ customers.

My wife shopped at SJ and Lily was willing to accept AMEX, MC and VISA but she rather the last 2 for almost all merchants pay a commission of 50% more or 3.5%-4% when using AMEX.

StanKase - did you find that most establishments will further discount if you pay in cash? what about travelers checks?
