Question about Singapore Airlines food

hi - am travelling first time in raffles class on singapore airlines and am curious if anyone has pre-ordered from their book the cook menu. is it better to do that or just go with what they serve (is the food usually good)?

not an earthshattering issue but any thoughts are welcome...

thanks!

I flew Raffles to Tokyo recently. Ordered from the menu on board. There's usually a choice. Won't say it's great but palatable. Loved the Haagen Daaz ice cream though. It's much better than ANA biz class where the meal is serve in a tray.

If you see a book the cook item that you like, then go ahead and order at least going one way or the other. The regular menu will give you a choice of three items as I recall. I think the food is pretty good for airline food.
