Private tour guide in Bangkok

I have read in past postings about someone in Bangkok. Could you please give me the e-mail address as I think this would be a great way to see and do things Thank You Andrea

her name is Ratt. Here is her e-mail:
[email protected]

She charges 225 Baht per hour. We have used her as have many people on this forum. Book well in advance as she is very popular.
Tell her Bill Toliver sent you!

Hobbes, I think you mentioned about a guide (not a driver like Ratt) who is a college student. Can you provide more information and contact #. Thanks.

Do a thread search for ratt...she is well worth it...safe driver (biggest plus of all in bkk), knowledgeable and
thoughtful. we spent 3 days with her in october 2004

Actually I had a terrible time with Ratt.

She is very nice, but some places she tries to talk you out of. I was kind of miffed about that, we had warring words by email.

www.thailanddriverguide is the driver we finally ended up with, his name is Mana, he's a great guy, Ratt also uses him for her customers, as she is an agency who farms out requests to different drivers.

We had such awesome service with Mana we came home and built him a website so he can get more customers. Such a nice family he has. We can't say enough about how nice he is.

Private drivers, who do the tour you want, is really the way to go. If single the big bus tours there charge you double the rate, if there's two of you, it's just as cheap to go in a private vehicle and leave the mass tourist bus behind.

I expect that traveleran has already chosen and used a guide for Bangkok, sirdaav, as you've responded to a thread from 2004.

Sharp eyes, Kathie! But a gentle redirection...

I am taking a cruise to SE Asia on Oceania end of January, 2012. I am trying to arrange private tours at each stop. Would you still recommend Mana for Bangkok?

my suggestion would be: www.tourwithtong.com

Hi another guide well worth considering in or view is Wandee. We have hired her in the past and have no doubt in talking her service when we return in early 2012 so looking forward to going back
Private guides really do add value to your Holiday and enjoy sharing their country with us visitors. We had a great trip to the Fishing Village with Wandee and what a great day out so funny and interesting.
Wandee is e mail [email protected] or website wandeetours.com
Go have some fun in that beautiful country. Have fun and laugh lots I know we will
