Private Tour Guide
 

I will be going to China in April and have arrange for private tours in both Beijing and Shanghai. We will have approximately 1.5 days with a private tour guide in Shanghai and 2 days in Beijing.

My question is this-- what is the customary amount to tip the tour guides? Also do the drivers get additional tips?

Will let you know information as soon as we return. Was referred to someone by a friend who was on a group tour in the fall-- I'd like to see how good they were.
