private guide/driver

Hello,
We plan to travel from Beijing to Shanghai (or the opposite way ) by car . We know it's a long way. (Can anyone recommend private drive/guide for this trip?

Thank You

www.thebeijinger.com has classifieds and a forum that might help you.

Just as a curiousity question, why do you wish to go by car instead of taking the train?

don`t suggest that you do this tour by car unless you want to see some other sights on the way.We drove back from Shanghai to Beijing this summer.It is about 800 miles from Shanghai to Beijing.about 14-15 hours driving.
We started from Beijing,through Datong,Wutaishan,Pingyao,Zhengzhou,Kaifeng,Luoyang ,Xi`an,Wudangshan,Jingdezhen,Yellow Montain,Nanjing,Hangzhou,Suzhou,Shanghai and back to Beijing.Total 30 days about 4500 miles.But I don`t think there are many things to see between Beijing and Shanghai.
