We are a group of 7 adults and looking for a car/van to take us to the hotel in WangFuJing area.

If we take cabs we will need 2 taxis. If we take the Airport Express Train we will still have to take cabs from the train station in downtown Beijing to our hotel. So I think the best option is to get a private van that fits 7 people.

I found this company: Chinavtour on the web. Has anyone used them before? or can recommend a reliable or reputable company? Thanks

Call the hotel and ask if they do hotel pickup. Probably cheaper/the same price/less hassle.

I would be quite surprised if hotel pickup wasn't much more expensive. I'd just take two cabs. Make sure they use the meter. Have your hotel name written out in Chinese characters. I don't know what cab fare is now but several years ago it was around $10 US to/from the airport.

The hotel was the first place I asked - unfortunately they do not have pickups.

But fortunately, the tour guide who will be taking us to the Great Wall said that he can arrange to pick us up from and to the airport. It is just a bit more expensive than the Chinavtour, but I am sure that he will show up at the airport.
