Power Plug Info for Asia

Hi I'd like to know what type of power plugs they use in Thailand/Vietnam for electrical applications?

Ie is it the European Style, Australian/NZ or American style power plug?

For Thailand it's the American style, flat blade as well as the round pin. For the other countries check this web site: http://www.exportassistance.com/expo...ric_plugs.html

Hanuman,

On the above website which letter does that correspond to?

I come from Aust with I type plugs (oblique flat blades with earth)

In Thailand is it Type B?

Is it the same in Cambodia?

Rhonda, B(without the earth) & C will both work in Thailand as most electrical plugs will accept both. Cambodia is pretty much the same.

The Aussie "I" type will not work anywhere in Asia.

Thanks all, does anybody know of a converter that will convert an aussie power plug device to a Thai one?
