Planning Honeymoon In Asia

Hi there,
I'm a newbie. I'm planning my honeymoon to somewhere in Asia. First idea is Thailand or Bali. But now my fiancé prefers something new, less popular and touristy and would like to explore culture as well, not just a classic beach stay. We think about Vietnam or Cambodia. Do you have any experience in planning a nice honeymoon trip?
Thanks

You can go for Sri Lanka famous for its beaches or Maldives.

What time of year are you planning on taking your honeymoon? The weather can vary dramatically in this part of the world and could have an effect on your decision, particularly if you plan on including some beach time.

We need a lot more information in order to be helpful. When is the trip? How many days will you have on the ground in Asia? What are you looking for - big cities? rural areas? beaches? What kinds of activities? Are you content to spend most of your time at a resort or do you want to do more exploring? You mention Cambodia, so I would assume you are interested in seeing the temples of Angkor... are there other special places you'd like to see? Since you mention VN, what abut VN attracts you?

I would not find Cambodia to be a good honeymoon destination for a host of reasons.
