Pimalai vs The Surin
 

Has anyone stayed at BOTH hotels? I've stayed at Pimalai and love it. We just wondering about The Surin. thanks

Thank you Pimalai is in Koh Lanta, Thailand and The Surin is in Phuket, Thailand

Thailand was my guess. Never used these hotels anyway.

You might find some "first person" reviews for these hotels on the Tripadvisor forum.

I stayed at the Chedi in 2005 and it was great. Lower level units were still gone due to the tsunami. The Surin has replaced it and looks even better than the Chedi ever was. Lots of stairs. I'm a fan of Surin Beach in general.
