Phuket Scuba advice

My husband & I will be staying at JW Marriot - Phuket in early Feb. 2007. We are PADI certified and are looking for an operator to book a scuba gig with us. Can be a all day adventure if the location is exceptional. Any suggestions?

Not a diver myself, so I can't comment on their services, but here are two references I have on file:

My husband and I were just in Phuket, now in Chiang Mai actaully, but anyway we used sea-bees scuba diving, reccomended by our hotel but definitely first rate. They go to different locations depending on the day so check with them about your timing. I think the website is www.sea-bees.com but not sure, if that's not it do a google search and see if you come up with it.
Have fun!

Above is a link that you may find useful. Koh Racha Noi is a nice dive site but not for beginners. Here you may well come accross, Manta, Barracuda and Turtle. There is also the King Cruiser Wreck. Quite interesting.

There is a new link on our Thailand page that has some great Phuket info which may be of use to you. Some not so well known bars, restaurants and places of interest.

If the Simillon Islands are open you will find excellent diving and snorkeling out the (~50 miles away)but it was some of the best we have done.
