Phuket

hihi!
will be going to Phuket this weekend. just wondering how has the weather been?
the weather app shows it's been raining everyday! has anyone happen to go on the "john grey sea canoe" tour recently? how's it like on a rainy weather?

many thanks !

May is typically a rainy month in Phuket, on average over 13 inches of rain. But it doesn't usually rain all day. Since you are considering the John Gray Sea Canoes, be aware that the water is usually quite rough and beaches are often red-flagged during rainy season. I think the question for you will be whether John Gray is running those tours when you are there.

hi Kathie!
have checked with John Gray tours and they still run whether rain or shine. however, I'm not sure if we will get to enjoy the full experience as much when it rains! what do you reckon?

It is up to you. How do you feel about rain? Do you feel your time at the beach is ruined by rain? If so, you should probably skip it.

I'm from Seattle. We do all kinds of things in the rain. If we didn't we'd never do anything. Seattle Rain Festival October through May.

yeah might just skip it as it shows thunderstorm every day! guess we chose the wrong period to head to Phuket! guess we've just got to stay indoors, enjoy the massage and drinks!

It rarely rains all day. You are more likely to get thunderstorms every afternoon. But I would expect you'll have periods of sunshine every day as well.
