Photos for Cambodia and Laos Visa

Does anyone know if photos taken by those cheap photobooths in malls are acceptable for a visa to Laos and Cambodia? Also are these photobooth photos also good for Angkor Wat passes? Thanks.

I believe they are fine. When I arrived in Cambodia, I had a photocopy of my passport and just tore the picture out. The worst that can happen, is that they make you buy photos on the spot, which is cheaper than getting them in the states.

You're still carrying around these photos in your wallet? a little too much self loving???

ok, I will make a note to remind you otherwise we'll just forget and go to lunch. you don't like my cheap mall photobooth idea? might save D and I some time.

isn't that the whole point of why I ask these questions here before going ahead with my stupid ideas???

The cheap photo booth pics are just fine. Do make sure they are passport-photo size (some photo booth pics are and some aren't).

Like landini, I tore my picture from a copy of my passport that I had in my "hidden purse". My actual passport pictures I took to use were in my checked luggage and not accessible at the time we went through immigration. Luckily, they did not seem to care.
