Phase one of trip begins

Well the bags are packed and I'm off to NY tomorrow and will be leaving for Thailand on the 31st. Only crisis so far was with my dogs but hopefully it has been resolved. Talk to you from Chiang Mai! happy New Year everyone and I'm really looking forward to meeting some of you in thailand.

i understand that they have re-upholstered your favorite chair in the O lobby in honor of your arrival....people keep trying to sit in it and they keep asking them not to until you have arrived and tried it out....its the one with the gold cord draped across it in your favorite spot...head right for it...

now that eloise does not have a home any more, i think you are the new eloise of bangkok....
