Petronas Twin Towers tickets

Hello,

Does anyone know if there is a chance of obtaining tickets to go to the skybridge and observation deck even if tickets show as being unavailable online? Do they just sell a certain number online and still have some available for sale there? Or does sold out mean sold out?

Thanks,
Judy

which hotel are you staying at? we stayed at The Mandarin Oriental next door and they purchased the tickets for us!

we went to the office about 8:15AM to get near the front of the line and it worked very well... there were still many people in front of us.... there might have been a small charge, I can't remember..

Thanks Smeagol and rhkkmk. We'll be staying at the Doubletree on Hilton points. I'll email them and see if they can arrange something for us. Thanks!

I think it's only the MO that can get them as they are right next door BUT it doesn't hurt to ask, failing that get there early and I am sure you will get tickets...

our Sheraton (Imperial) had a commuter van to PT early each AM

Get there early and you won't have a problem. We turned up around 9.30 and still got tickets for an hour lot so later, as i recall we queued for 20-30 mins. The views are nice but be aware that you only go to the bridge not to the top. Sitting through the Petronas 3D video at the beginning was a little tedious..

Thank you! I've gotten over my initial disappointment, so I'm good now whether we're able to actually go up or not. But, it's definitely good to know that the possibility still exists.

Crellston, is the video mandatory? Although it was tedious, do you think it was worth seeing?

We enjoyed the video. It was only a few minutes, and showed how the towers were built, giving you a better perspective.

the whole experience was the best thing we did in K/L, which really is a pretty boring city..

jlaughs Jun 13th, 2013 09:42 AM

Then I'm back to really hoping that we're able to get tickets to go up. It was the number 1 reason I wanted to go to KL to begin with - that and Batu Caves which I understand will probably be a disappointment, but I want to see for myself.

Thanks again for everyone's responses.

We didn't do the video, must have missed that......

When we visited we didn't have any choice but to watch the video and, no, I didn't think it was worthwhile.
