from your place going to penang, what transportation did you use?
I am asking because we are planing to try gonig there by cruise but still not yet confirm..

we flew via kuala lumpur on air asia... we were coming from bali

zardom, if you are interested in Penang, don't go on a cruise. You would want to stay for several days in Georgetown.. Opt for the E&O if you can afford it.

We flew from Bangkok to Penang on Thai Air.

Why would it make difference how I got to Penang from wherever I was (Bangkok, at the time), don't you want to know how to get there from where you are?

It's the way you are asking the questions zardom. More like a survey or class assignment then a real travel question. Rewords your questions and you'll get better answers and from more people as well.
