Payment for Baan Orapin

To reserve a room at Baan Orapin in Chiang Mai, I need to make a deposit payment via a site called: THAIEPAY.com

Has anyone used this site before? Is it safe?

Thanks,
Rahul

If Baan Orapin is using it I would trust it. Opas lived in the U.S. for many years and is pretty sophisticated. he wouldn't be using an unsafe site. BTW-- Baan Orapin is one of my favorite hotel experiences ever.

I have used that site before. I think it was for tickets to the Calypso Cabaret show. I didn't have any problems.

THAIEPAY.com is likely paypal , it is the payment service. They also connect with merchant account with bank in Thailand.

We have a Thaiepay account, as others have said it is like Paypal. Has worked fine.

I agree with glorialf. If Opas is using it, it can be trusted. You'll LOVE Baan Orapin, Opus and Pepsi (cooked and served breakfast). Happy travels.

Wait, whats Pepsi - the drink?? I take it, it means something else here :)

Pepsi is a delightful young man at Baan Orapin who does everything including serve breakfast. And he does it all with a huge smile and a warmth that is rare even in thailand.
